About Anu
Anu Arora has always believed that some of life’s greatest teachers show up in unexpected ways — on mountain trails, in moments of conflict, or in the quiet pauses of everyday life. Today, as an executive and team coach, keynote speaker, and mindfulness expert, she brings those lessons forward to help others lead with compassion, clarity, and courage.
Her path began far from the recording studio. Trained as an aeronautical engineer, Anu built helicopters at Hindustan Aeronautics in India before earning her Master’s degree at IIT Madras. Eventually, her journey led her to Microsoft in Seattle, where she rose to Director roles leading global teams. Yet the more she achieved outwardly, the more she recognized an inner truth: success without presence and connection can leave life feeling hollow. That insight propelled her into the world of leadership coaching, where she could bring both her engineering discipline and her heart for people together.
Anu’s own story is marked by moments of resilience and surrender. While trekking to Everest Base Camp with a hip injury, she discovered that perseverance sometimes means pushing through pain, and other times it means letting go. A bike accident years earlier, triggered by unchecked stress, became a turning point that taught her the cost of ignoring balance and well-being. These experiences now shape the way she supports others: reminding them that resilience isn’t about perfection but about finding strength, grace, and compassion in the midst of challenge.
As the founder of Infinite Potential Leadership and Past President of the International Coaching Federation’s Washington Chapter, Anu has coached leaders and teams at Microsoft, Boeing, Oracle Health, and Pivotal Ventures. She is recognized for her frameworks like Conflict + Compassion — inspired by the balance of spice and coconut in Thai Red Curry — and her Three Circles of Teaming (I–We–Us) model. But beyond the frameworks, what sets her apart is her gift for storytelling: she makes lessons memorable, relatable, and actionable.
At Vivatude, Anu serves as host for the Social and Intellectual Wellness pillar. Her episodes are not lectures but living conversations. She interviews experts from diverse fields — psychology, neuroscience, leadership, creativity — and draws out insights that help women and caregivers stay mentally strong, socially connected, and intellectually alive. Her role is that of a guide and fellow traveler, asking questions that open hearts and spark curiosity, while weaving connections that make each episode practical and inspiring.
Listeners can expect conversations that move fluidly between research and real life, between wisdom and wonder. Whether she is talking about how to manage stress, reframe conflict, or rekindle a sense of belonging, Anu creates space for both reflection and action.
For her, hosting Vivatude is more than a platform — it’s a way of giving back to a community that carries immense responsibility yet often feels unseen. Through these conversations, she hopes every listener discovers not just ideas, but a renewed sense of strength, connection, and possibility.
Sometimes the mountain teaches me more than any classroom ever did.
